Athiya Shetty has definitely set the tone of 2023’s bridal trends with her rose pink lehenga for her wedding with cricketer–KL Rahul. Taking to her Instagram handle, Shetty shared a new set of pictures from her fun, haldi ceremony with her husband–KL Rahul and brother Ahan Shetty. Captioning the pictures as –Sukh, Athiya posed with the groom–KL, as they enjoyed the ceremony in a well-decorated setup.
For the same, the actress picked a beautiful kurta in the lustrous shade of ivory. Adorned with gotta work, Shetty’s bridal look for the day function featured a beige base, alongside an intricately detailed neckline, with conical borders. Athiya teamed the kurta with a matching dupatta, which she placed around her shoulders. For accessories, the actress chose to strike a mix of flowers and heirloom jewellery with floral hair accessories, and a statement maangtika. Keeping her makeup perfect for the sunny day, the actress went ahead with a minimal glow.
Unlike many celebrity brides like–Katrina Kaif and Mouni Roy, Athiya kept her outfit extremely simple to feel at ease on the special day. The actress also experimented with a colour palette, that was similar to Katrina Kaif’s haldi look, and picked an ivory gotta kurta for the same.

Matching with his bride, groom KL Rahul chose a simple kurta with tonal lines and a delicate chikankari detailing around his neckline. Reacting to the pictures, celebrities from Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Aditya Seal to Athiya’s dad/actor–Suniel Shetty, showered love in the comments section. Athiya tied the knot with long-time boyfriend/cricketer–KL Rahul on January 23, 2023. For the same, the actress picked a beautiful Anamika Khanna, Chikankari lehenga in pale pink.
