This strong personality of her fashion, leads her collaborations with various designer labels and fashion houses. In the latest, she joined hands with popular fashion brand H&M. For the brand’s exclusive festive collection, Shetty is the new face. Revealing her personal favourites from the clothing edit, Shetty spoke about her skincare routine, her favourite Bollywood actress and her style and a lot more.
Q: Take us through your collaboration with H&M.
Athiya Shetty: When H&M reached out to me to do this I was super thrilled, the campaign shoot was really enjoyable and I had a great time. I loved working with Gregory Harris and the entire team in such a gorgeous palace location surrounded by lush greenery, vaulted ceilings and architectural columns. I really connected to the concept of togetherness during the festive season; behind the campaign.
Q: Which is your favourite piece from this collection?
Athiya Shetty: My favourite piece has to be the pink jumpsuit, it’s so versatile that it can easily take you from day to night. Seamlessly marrying comfort with style, making sure you look your festive best this season.
Q: What’s the perfect go-to festive look for Athiya?
Athiya Shetty: Just like my personal style, I like pieces that are transitional and yet high on style. It has to be a look that packs a punch and yet is comfortable. Just like the pieces in the H&M collection, these are outfits I can see myself wearing far beyond the festive season too.
Q: What’s in your skincare routine for the festive season?
Athiya Shetty: This time of year is my favourite as we get to spend so much time at home with friends and family. However, all the late nights and eating sweets catch up. So over the years, I’ve learnt that giving myself enough time to sleep, is key to making sure my skin looks radiant. I also make sure I clean my face before going to bed every night. My skincare routine is fairly simple just 4-5 basic steps, I never forget my sunscreen and always moisturise!
Q: In terms of fashion, tell us what would you steal from the wardrobes of the following–Suniel Shetty, Mana Shetty, Ahan Shetty, and KL Rahul?
Athiya Shetty: Honestly, I would steal from my dad’s sunglasses collection, for my mom I love her entire wardrobe! Ahan, maybe I’d take his leather jacket and definitely KL’s sneaker collection!
