Leading celebs like Athiya Shetty, Janhvi Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Disha Patani and Rana Daggubati turned muses for the designer labels. And guess what? Thank You For Coming star Sushant Divgikr aka Rani KoHEnur also graced the ramp in a stunning piece by Pallavi Mohan. Without further ado, let’s dive into all the highlights from day 3 of LFW X FDCI.
Highlights From Day 3 Of Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI
Dia Mirza Walks For Pankaj & Nidhi
Raga By Titan X Pankaj & Nidhi showcased monochromatic looks created by the designer duo with a signature palette of black and ivory with muted gold. Showstopper Dia Mirza was styled in an ivory co-ord set with the top and the cape featuring heavy floral embroidery and pearlesque work. As much as we love the classic colours, black and ivory, Dia Mirza looked absolutely boring in this piece.
Pankaj & Nidhi’s new collections celebrate 15 years of presenting at LFW and features lattice-work, trapunto quilting, and inlaid appliqués along with pixelated florals and pearlesque work on fabrics like wool, silk, taffeta and double knits with a touch of vintage.

Athiya Shetty, Rana Daggubati Present For Shivan & Narresh
Athiya Shetty turned showstopper for Shivan & Narresh at their Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI showcase presented by Birkenstock. The collection called ‘Grounded In Nature’ is inspired by the Suomi Series from the designer duo’s recent trip to the Scandinavian world. Athiya Shetty walked in a dress featuring a black bustier and a multi-coloured bodice cinched at one side of the waist creating an asymmetrical hemline. The look was paired with silver Birkenstock and while we love the footwear, the outfit is too plain for our taste.
Rana Daggubati also turned muse for the designer duo for their biggest Read-to-wear showcase till date. The actor brought some fun to the Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI ramp in black loose-fit pants, a bright printed shirt and a jacket paired with funky teal Birkenstock. We’re totally fawning over Rana in this look.
FYI, Shivan & Narresh’s new collection features 5 iconic prints inspired by Northern lights, aerial views of Levi, abstract Finnish art, and more from the Finnish culture. The collection is created using several print and knitting techniques among other things.

Janhvi Kapoor Walks For Amit Aggarwal
Janhvi Kapoor turned muse for Amit Aggarwal for Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI showcase of his new Pret 2024 Collection called Core. Janhvi’s look featured a structured bustier featuring rhinestone tubing paired with a ruched skirt. While we’re totally fans of Amit Aggarwal’s classic structured clothing, Janhvi’s look seemed too plain for our liking. The busiter looks absolutely stunning but the plain black ruched skirt is taking up too much space and spoiling the overall look. TBH, we expect so much more structured and glam looks from Amit Aggarwal and this one is just not his vibe (at least to us).
NGL but the fit of the skirt had me worrying about Janhvi Kapoor. Totally thought she’d trip. With such tight hemlines, we’re going back to the archaic ideas of forcing women into clothes that push them to be more “feminine” and take tiny steps at the walk to look more graceful but oh well, I don’t think we want to do that anymore in 2023 or 2024.

Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu Walks For Not So Serious By Pallavi Mohan
Dubai Bling fame Safa Siddiqui walked the ramp at Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI for Not So Serious by Pallavi Mohan in a white gown featuring silver embellishment as well as matching white threadwork. The look also featured a cape with feather detailing. Harnaaz Sandhu was dressed in a maroon fish-cut gown. The look featured big sequins on the bodice and feather detailing below.
This latest collection by Pallavi Mohan was called ‘My Journey… Just the Beginning… ‘ was all about traditional techniques and 3D flower detailing on pastel and vibrant fabric hues. But NGL, we’re not loving these looks from Pallavi Mohan’s new collection.
The Guapa collection was also presented along with Pallavi Mohan’s. The collection was all about tailored pieces in contrasting bright colours and quirky prints created using biodegradable fabrics. With sustainability at the core, the brand created the new collection with the aim to up-cycle and reduce waste.

Apart from Disha’s look Indian label Kalki’s Zayra collection featured gowns, sarees with trails and veils, fish-cut looks in shades of blue, gold, peach dust, warm beige and more.
