11 Times Athiya Shetty Proved She’s Fashion’s New Darling

I really don’t have to spell this out for you, do I? Athiya Shetty has officially arrived as B-town’s favourite new fashionista. The one-movie-old actress is not just eye candy for the fashion inspired, she’s even earned cover girl status with some of the country’s hottest magazines. Be it runway pieces or high-street brands, Athiya works both like a pro (with due credit to stylist Ami Patel). Undoubtedly, she’s the new stylista to watch out for – she even has a major brand endorsement to prove it.

Don’t believe me? Here’s the proof.

1. In Prints to ‘Dye’ For

She reminded us that clamp dye is a print a fashionista should never resist. Seen here in a Ka-Sha Clamp Dye Print Dress, she wears it with her favourite tan flats (spotted on her on more than one occasion).

2. Getting Her Ladylike Chic On

Who doesn’t love a chic, summery dress? With make-up au naturel and a pair of nude heels, the B-town entrant looked stunning and ladylike in this Payal Pratap midi.

3. A Wrap Done Right

Athiya kept it sleek and chic in a navy wrap front dress with white panelling by Issa London and white pumps. The only pop of colour she had on were those red lips. Love!

4. It Was All Yellow

The paparazzi went click, click, click! when they spotted Athiya making an entry in this mustard yellow Gauri & Nainika gown. That Jimmy Choo clutch was the perfect accompaniment.

5. Rocking Floral Prints

Teaming botanical print H&M separates with a pair of white sneakers, Athiya sports the casual chic trend with ease.

6. Suiting Up In Style

Opting for a double satin circuit suit by designer Kanika Goyal, Athiya worked runway style with panache.

7. Mixing Prints

Mixing prints in a single colour tone, Ms. Shetty was spotted in separates by Dev r Nil, adding to it an aqua blue ring and suede tan loafers. She made this tricky look seem effortless.

8. White On White

I personally love all-white ensembles, and Athiya works this trend perfectly keeping it casual yet comfy in a white cutout skirt and top by Carven. I like that she opted for those metallic sneakers; sporty yet chic.

9. Bringing Sexy Back

The jumpsuit fad is no biggie, but working a mesh jumpsuit by Sonaakshi Raj spot on, now that’s quite something.

10. Flower Power

That floral Sabyasachi jumpsuit and belt does wonders for her tall frame; it makes her look so graceful and gazelle-like. Her tresses parted in the centre and rolled into twists for a half-up style… just the perfect hairdo for this look.

11. Harnessing Trends

A navy shirt dress with a harness by Nikhil Thampi, teamed with metallic Oxfords – it’s the contrast of the accessories that makes this look edgy. Me thinks edgy is good!
