Animal Prints Are En Vogue Again And Here’s How You Can Show Some Love To The Trend

Exciting news for maximalists, the animal prints are back! From leopard, zebra to the trendiest cow, brands are racing to carve the best products wrapped in the prints. Bold, beautiful and eccentric, the quirky splash of strokes is here to rule. From overcoats, baguettes to even the bucket hats, there’s not a trim that isn’t dipped in the print. And as I take you through the many ways you can try and love the trendiest style, let’s admire the many celebrities acing it.

Layer Layer

Winter’s here and the stylish XXL outwear too. Taking notes from Balenciaga’s SS20 runway show, this month is all about loving the animal prints with shoulder pads that are outlandish but irresistible. You can wear the printed coats teamed with an unconventional colour palette or go ahead with the ‘matchy-matchy’ sets, in case the colour game is not what you wanna play. Take cues from the new The Matrix Resurrections star, Priyanka Chopra, to style the long snake print coat with a flared maxi or Tara Sutaria who loves the mini silhouette and oversized blazer, all painted with the zebra print (adding pizzazz to the winter wear!).

Accessories Are Here To Save

If the visual of Katy Perry dressed head-to-toe in the animal print serves you with some unwanted chills, then dear readers accessories are here to save. From bucket hats, earrings, footwear to SATC’s infamous baguettes, slide in the not-so-subtle print through these add-ons. Teamed best with a wide range of silhouettes, be it a dress or cosy sweatpants, the extra sparkle of the animal print is trendy enough for your fashion appetite.

Sweater Weather

Casual, cool and chic, animal prints in shades of yellow, pink and blue look great when married off with winter’s favourite knits. Co-ordinate it with a pair of citrus-hued pants or the teddy-bear like pyjama sets, the oversized sweaters are what I am loving and you will too. Giving the trend a quick test run, Ranveer Singh and Hailey Bieber gave us some great examples to have fun with the print.
