It indeed is a good morning because Ananya Panday has turned into a devil, who only wears Prada in the teaser of her latest show. Dropping soon on Prime Video, the first glimpse at the series is called–Call Me Bae. Featuring Ananya Panday and Varun Dhawan, the three-minute-long teaser sees Ananya roasting Dhawan for his apparently poor fashion choices.
Channelling Miranda Priestly, Panday is seen taking aashirwaad from the iconic character’s portrait before she schools Varun about fashion. The teaser features, Varun making fun of Ananya, who is seen making a tough choice between two types of belts, that are both blue. Dhawan calls Panday–”fashion log,” and well, she has the best comeback for it. She calls out the actor’s fashion choices, his blue boxers and how fashion designers over the years influence the way you dress. In her defence, she digs out interesting facts about the shade cerulean blue and how designers like Sabyasachi and Masaba Gupta brought it to the forefront. Panday plays a fashion expert in the show.

He calls Ananya–”Meryl Panday,” and introduces us to the upcoming series–Call Me Bae! The show is currently under filming and is being produced by none other than Karan Johar. Reacting to the teaser, many excited fans commented–“The devil wears Prada scene.” According to Amazon, the show puts Ananya Panday under the spotlight, who will be seen essaying the role of a billionaire fashionista–Bae, a girl disowned by her family due to a scandal. The series will see Panday making her way through prejudices, and stereotypes in quest of her real self. While the release date of the Prime Video show is yet to be dropped, the announcement declares the filming has begun!
