The past weekend was a mad affair as Anant Ambani, and Radhika Merchant finally tied the knot after months of pre-wedding celebrations. On July 12, the duo said–”I do.” For the main day of celebrations, Anant was seen wearing a custom-made, bandhgala sherwani by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee—the intricately embellished number in red featuring Swarovski floral embroidery work.
Complimenting the carrot red sherwani, Anant’s look was styled using emeralds. From buttons to a solid, two-tier necklace, everything was a statement design. He further complimented the look with his signature brooch. Repeating one of his favourite designs, Anant wore the Panthere De Cartier Brooch worth Rs. 1.3 crore. Featuring the motif of an elephant, the brooch also incorporated a blinding bright emerald stone. And while all that jazz was not enough, his royal kalgi caught our attention.
Attached to the gold, shimmer saafa, Anant’s Kalgi was a 100-carat design, punctuated with a massive solitaire and a feather. As per The Florida Times-Union, a 100-carat diamond sells for USD 22 million at auction, which in INR equals Rs. 1,83,88,30,400. Throughout the wedding festivities, Anant displayed his love for animal-shaped brooches, that are worth crores. Anant Ambani tied the knot with Radhika Merchant, followed by which the duo hosted two functions including–Shubh Ashirwad and a reception.
