Before the baraat, Sabyasachi package has arrived for the soon-to-be bride Alia Bhatt and groom Ranbir Kapoor. Nothing surprising here at all, the first glimpse of this package arriving in a kaali-peeli taxi has my much-high expectations from this shaadi, flying straight out of the window. Maana the Sabyasachi bride is a dream we’ve all been living for, but thoda zyaada nahi hogaya abh? Well, as expected this Sabyasachi package is a hint, Alia and Ranbir too will be the Sabya jodi, just like their fellow fraternity friends–Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, to name a few.

Ever since the rumours of their vivaah have taken a flight, speculations around Alia’s D-Day look have become a constant on the news bulletin, and not so surprisingly enough, it looks like wedding king Sabya is going to host this wedding wardrobe too. Well, if we are to believe sources, Alia’s wedding lehenga will have special blessings from the Kapoor khandan, some other sources also suggest, that the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress might mix it up and wear both a Sabyasachi lehenga, with a special veil by designer friend Manish Malhotra (interesting).
Amidst the zor shor wali wedding preparations, this new clip of a Sabyasachi lehenga being delivered at the wedding venue has received mixed reactions from fans.
Interestingly enough, some fans also pointed out Alia Bhatt’s choice of a Sabyasachi outfit instead of Manyavar Mohey, which she is the brand ambassador of. We kinda agree. I mean, when celebs openly flash their faces on our screens in support of a brand, it’s rare they would apply the same to their personal lives too. Right? Sure, the endorsement money is great, but we can’t avoid the fact that it isn’t truly coming from an authentic place. Reacting to Alia and Ranbir’s choice, many said, “Sabyasachi? Kyun ab Manyavar dulhan wali feeling nahi chahiye?’” “Another Sabyasachi bride and groom it is,” while some others happily responded, “Can’t wait for their big day.”
Pretty much like all the celebrity brides, and this latest one making its way, fans think choosing a Sabya outfit is a no-brainer. While we are yet to crack why these celebs are always rooting for wedding king– Sabya, we’re still going to keep our fingers crossed to witness at least some experiment in that zone.
