Alia Bhatt thankfully broke her streak of monotonous boring looks with this brand-new bold and black ensemble at the opening of Jio World Plaza opening. Joining her fellow Bollywood celebrities on the red carpet, Bhatt stepped out wearing a piece from Gaurav Gupta’s couture atelier. For the opening night, Bhatt picked this designer gown featuring a strapless shoulder design, with curled-up edges in black. The padded bust, with a corseted bodice provided a fitted look to the actress.

The see-through chord detailed fabric work featured a front-slit design. What we loved about Bhatt’s ensemble was the addition of black stockings, followed by matching heels. Offering a certain sense of balance, the outfit was the perfect fit for Alia’s aesthetic. With a dash of experiment, she curated the ensemble with a monochrome combination. Accessorising the look, Bhatt made a wise choice of picking a pair of gold ear studs and spiral rings.
