How Sassy Does Alia Bhatt Look On Grazia’s Feb Cover?
We’re so used to seeing the cutesy Alia Bhatt — where she’s usually channeling a girl-next-door look — so often lately that at times I wonder if there’s a side to her that’s yet to be explored. And just when I was beginning to lose hope of discovering it, the international fashion magazine Grazia India has given me something to chew on. Ditching her usual cute young girl image, Alia Bhatt channels a more grown-up, sexy vibe on the magazine’s new February 2016 cover.
Not only does Alia win us over with this new avatar, I think the cover is fabulously vintage looking thanks to its dramatic styling by its Fashion Director, Ekta Rajani. Wearing an ensemble comprising a cami by Rasa Jaipur, a bra top by Anamika Khanna and trousers by Nimish Shah’s Shift, Alia’s look is unconventionally edgy. She also sports jewellery by Bansri, Bhane, and Pipa + Bella, and her look is finished off with shoes by Jimmy Choo.
Some intriguing make-up created by make-up artist Elton J Fernandez works its magic to make the look more intense. As he mentions in his Instagram post, there’s a serious 70s vibe going on there! I like the overall nude make-up look, and the defining aspect here are those voluminous, clumpy eyelashes. It gives her such a sexy French girl vibe, no? We approve!
