Kapoor And Sons 

For the Shakun Batra film, Bhatt joined her co-stars Sidharth Malhotra, and Fawad Khan, in a mix of playful and dreamy looks. For her character Tia Malik, the actress picked an array of bright tulle dresses, graphic prints, and slogan t-shirts and tied her hair into quirky designer braids like the S-shaped design. From denim to mango dresses, her promotion looks, pocketed the essence of her character in the film.

Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania 

For the 2014 film, Bhatt went on a press tour with her co-star Varun Dhawan. Essaying the role of a Punjabi girl–Kavya Pratap Singh, Bhatt added a tall stack of salwars, kurtas, and mirror-laden jackets. For the most part, she incorporated fusion wear to her wardrobe, giving a nod to her character in the film.

Kalank 

For the big commercial project by Dharma Productions, Alia Bhatt played the role of Roop Choudhary and performed “Ghar More Pardesia,” throughout her promotions. Enveloping the essence of her character in the film, Bhatt welcomed some glamorous ethnic looks, including anarkalis, sharara sets, oxidised jewellery and bindis. Similar to her fashion in the film, her wardrobe exuded old-world charm, garnished with Indian ethnic cuts.

Gangubai Kathiawadi 

Her best promotion wardrobe so far was visible during the marketing cycle of her blockbuster hit Gangubai Kathiawadi. For the Sanjay Leela Bhansali biopic-drama, Bhatt essayed the role of Gangubai, both in real and reel life. Like her character in the film, who fell in love with the beauty of white sarees, the actress picked elements like the moon, roses, and the colour white, especially sarees to promote her film. Styled by Ami Patel, Bhatt made some stunning statements in her stack of white sarees and symbolic moon jewellery.

Darlings 

For her first project as a producer and mother-to-be, Bhatt started promoting the Netflix film with the shade yellow. Paying homage to her production house–Eternal Sunshine, the colour yellow was a big nod to new and special beginnings, as he chose a yellow taffeta Valentino dress, to promote her film Darlings.

Brahmāstra

For her first film with husband/actor Ranbir Kapoor, Bhatt essayed the role of Isha. The promotion cycle of the film featured some statement maternity looks served by the actress, who was then expecting her first child with Kapoor. For the first promotion event of the film, Bhatt chose to wear a cut-out dress, as a nod to the importance of the shade red in her character’s wardrobe in the film. Symbolising fire, love, passion and strength, the colour red and its variations in pink, were worn by Bhatt throughout the film and shared a close relationship with her film character look.
