Bride Alanna Panday’s Pre-Wedding Lehenga Captures Details Of Her Travels With Groom Ivor

Actress Ananya Panday’s cousin and model–Alanna Panday just recently tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend–Ivor. For her plush Indian wedding, Panday picked a host of Indian designers like Manish Malhotra, Papa Don’t Preach By Shubhika and Rahul Mishra, for her grand wedding celebrations. The 27-year-old model, matched every custom-made bridal look with her well-decorated, soft Instagram feed, and sealed the deal with meaningful details.

Amongst the many looks she sported throughout her wedding festivities, her pre-wedding sangeet look was a custom-made lehenga by the Indian designer label–Papa Don’t Preach By Shubhika. The subtle statement of the sorbet-hued lehenga, was embellished with sea shells, candy-coloured stones, and a slim-fit silhouette that mirrored her persona. In a detailed Instagram post, designer Shubhika described the approach behind the look and mentioned how she always looked at Alanna as this Indian mermaid.

Paying homage to this concept, was Panday’s fish-tail skirt, in colours of sea blue and sea salt pink. The look sought inspiration from their Italian getaways, with mood boards filled with flora and fauna there. The sea-shell-soaked blouse featured glass beads in mesmerising pink, resembling the bride’s collection of sea shells on her getaways with groom Ivor. Styled by celebrity stylist–Ami Patel, Alanna completed the look with a custom-bride potli bag, mint green cape, blooming shoulders and whimsical jewels.
