Shoppers Assemble, Aditya Birla Fashion Partners With French Galeries Lafayette To Open Stores In India
French fashion is on its way!
Fashion straight from France is on its way, and we can’t wait. Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd (ABFRL) announced its tie-up with Galeries Lafayette to open luxury department stores in Mumbai, and Delhi. The Galeries Lafayette is one of the biggest, century-old stores in Europe. Filled with options for food, and some of the most luxurious designer labels, the store is also known for its popular–Art Nouveau architecture.

According to the partnership, ABFRL will open two flagship stores in 2024 and 2025 in Mumbai, and Delhi. And a part of these stores will be close to 200 luxury labels. This deal aims to strengthen India’s image as a significant spot in the luxury marketplace. While the names of these luxury fashion houses are yet to be disclosed, ABFRL’s latest partnership will expose Indian buyers to international names, making shopping a much more convenient affair. Much like Galeries’ world-famous architecture, the Indian stores will house experience-driven designs. Catering to customers’ needs, the stores will deliver a 360-degree retail experience, and focus on bridging the gap between technology, and fashion.
