Aditi Rao Hydari Wears Bindi, Payal In New Pics From Cannes 2025, Looking Like A Mani Ratnam Heroine. Gorgeous!

The Cannes Film Festival 2025 has finally come to an end, but we seem to still be obsessed with the fashion served on and off the red carpet. More than films, the festival has become an amusement park for fashion fanatics, flocking to the French town for photoshoots, and branded content. Besides the many, who go missing in the crowd, some use this opportunity to stand out. This year amongst the many Indian A-listers who walked the red carpet, actress Aditi Rao Hydari presented a slice of desi drama through her suitcase.

Through a plethora of looks, Aditi not only supported Indian designers but exhibited her desi roots through a touch of sindoor, bindi and chunky Indian jewellery. Be it a pair of bejewelled oxidised pants or a homegrown brand accompanied by a bindi and payal, Hydari lived the India dream, drenched in the monsoon of the French Rivera. As seen in the latest pictures, the actress enjoyed the monsoon in France, flaunting a checkered top with an ankle-length printed skirt. The print party by Indian homegrown label–Peachoo, was further accessorised with the beloved Indian, oxidised jewels.

An ear cuff, and a pair of mismatched Indian jhumkas, fixating a spot in her many piercings, Hydari’s tied-up hair allowed us a clean glimpse of the look. Besides the jewels, she added a pair of chunky payal (anklet) and a tiny black bind, showcasing her love for rooted Indian textiles and jewellery. Not just that, but her floral skirt was further complimented with a pair of embellished flats, often loved by desi fashion fanatics. Well, a sight in the French Rivera, worth glaring it.

Besides this, the actress presented a few fantastic looks, including a red Raw Mango saree, which she styled with a Sindoor-clad hair bun and a red bindi, that had everyone back in the motherland, including her husband/actor Siddharth obsessed. For her red carpet moment, she picked up a fabulous, black, tassel and sequin-loaded gown from the best of Indian designer Rahul Mishra’s creations. Apart from Aditi, actresses Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Alia Bhatt also represented Indian fashion on the international stage in their interpretations of a saree, making India proud.
