‘Adipurush’ Star Kriti Sanon’s Chikankari Sharara Set Might Look Boring But Is Very Summer-Friendly

Actress Kriti Sanon is currently on promotion duties for her upcoming film–Adipurush. Dropping a brand new look, stylist Sukriti Grover surprised us with new pictures of Sanon in a stunning Chikankari suit. Designed by Anjul Bhandari, the designer’s signature Chikankari or shadow work was visible through tonal embroidery threadwork. The lavender and blush pink suit incorporated a short kalidaar kurta teamed with a matching sharara set.

Decorating the hemlines is a Keel and Jaalidar Border, featuring pearls and sequins. The mini slit on the side adds room for movement, while the sharara pants make the twirl look even more pretty. Sanon completed the look with a matching Chikankari dupatta in the same shade of lavender and sealed it together with a white jutti by Needle And Dust. For hair, she tied her tresses into a messy ponytail, and statement gemstone ear studs.

Making the right choice with the colour, Kriti’s Chikankari sharara set is perfect for a hot summer day. With that, her minimal makeup and flat juttis, make sure to make her feel comfortable in the ethnic set. Mirroring the pale, soft aesthetics of her role in the film Sita, Kriti’s promotional look for the film is a blend of Indian embroideries and sorbet hues. Previously for the trailer launch of the event, Kriti styled a double dupatta sarees by Abu Jani And Sandeep Khosla, with her hair tied into a bun.
