These New Yeezy Boost Kicks Have Zahra Seeing Stripes

These New Yeezy Boost Kicks Have Zahra Seeing Stripes

If you’re a sneakerhead, you’re sure to have been following Adidas Originals’ Yeezy Boost drops with anticipation. After last year’s core black and red release of the the V2 silhouette comes the new white and black edition, aptly dubbed the ‘Zebra’ thanks to its contrasting monochrome colours. And to say that I was in love is an understatement.

The athleisure trend has been on a steady incline for the past few years, and now it’s become par for the course thanks to sportswear brands like Adidas and Nike upping the ante in the fashion sneakers department. These shoes are as much about performance as they are about looking good in your on duty or off duty style. Plus, the comfort of wearing sneakers that fit you like a glove versus leather flats or heels in a casual work environment just can’t be beat.

Which is why I absolutely love these new limited edition kicks from Adidas.

Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 in White/Black

The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 features an upper composed of super comfy white and black Primeknit, with a subtle contrasting off white streak rubber outsole and TPU sidewalls that create a striking effect while providing superior traction. Utilising the brand’s innovative BOOST™ technology, the shoe’s midsole is not just durable but also shock resistant and responsive, making for a super comfy walking or running shoe. Or you know, for when you’re just chilling out with your friends over the weekend.

The mirrored ‘SPLY-350’ mark remains intact as the distinct centre stitching, with a new pull tab added on to the heel for this release. Yes — they don’t come cheap. At a whopping 23k, they’re not for the fainthearted (or the weak-pocketed). But if you have the moolah to splurge, these definitely are the ones to cop right now!
