8 Popular British Brands Every Girl Should Know About
When you’re in England, sure, there’s a whole lot of history to take in and places to see. But shopping there is definitely more fun than anywhere else in the world. London is one of my favourite cities and it isn’t just because of all the pubs it houses. Oxford and Bond streets are practically my home when I’m there and it’s mainly because of the rows and rows of stores at which to shop.
While some of these brands are finally available in India, the collections are always very different in store (hint: newer). So next time you’re in the country, make sure these stores are on your list. After all, you’ve got to stay ahead of the style curve, right?
1. River Island
When it comes to fun, on trend going out clothes, River Island is your best bet. Their clothes and accessories are always on point and you’ll never leave the store without at least one thing.
One of the best stores to head over to for office wear would be Next. Not only will they have something for whatever kind of place you work at, they even have a home section you’ll love.
3. New Look
No one does fast fashion quite like New Look. Cheap, stylish and extensive, their collection will just have you coming back, week after week.
I’ve bought some of my favourite party dresses from Miss Selfridge. The best part about the brand is that they have a range of sizes, so you can be sure to find something that fits.
Warehouse may be on the slightly pricier side, but their clothes last forever and they’re definitely a must-have in any fashionista’s wardrobe.
My favourite brand on this list has got to be Topshop. They have the coolest designs, every type of denims imaginable, separate sections for ‘petite’ and ‘tall’ and some of the most fantastic celebrity collaborations.
Going from office to party is something we do quite often these days. The brand that caters to just that is Dorothy Perkins!
Reiss is easily priced much higher than all the brands on this list. After all, all that chicness must come at a price, right? If their collection doesn’t impress you enough, how about the fact that Kate Middleton is a big fan?
