Hansika Motwani Files Defamation Case Against Sister-In-Law; Demands Rs 2 Crore, Public Apology
Hansika Motwani has requested the court to order Muskan Nancy James to avoid making statements about her.
In recent events, famous actor Hansika Motwani has filed a defamation case against her sister-in-law and television actor Muskan Nancy James at Mumbai sessions court. She has asked for 2 crores in damages from her brother’s former wife for accusing domestic violence on her and her brother, Prashant Motwani. This case has gotten much more intense. Hansika Motwani Sues Sister-In-Law
As per reports, Motwani has also demanded a public apology from Prashant’s ex-wife. The actor also claimed that James made fake and damaging claims about the two of them to avoid repaying an alleged Rs 27 Lakhs loan. Hansika also alleged that her sister-in-law had borrowed this money during her marriage to her brother and is yet to return the same. Her plea also referred to Nancy as a ‘small-time television actor’ who allegedly showed off a luxurious lifestyle online while refusing to settle her dues.
For the unversed, Muskan Nancy James had earlier accused Hansika Motwani and her brother of cruelty and harassment while making allegations of domestic violence in her FIR. She further accused the South actress for ‘interfering’ in her marriage, however, Hansika has denied all such claims. As per a report by Hindustan Times, the two women were not cordial with each other.

Hansika Motwani tied the knot with Sohael Khaturiya in December 2022 in an opulent wedding held at Mundota Fort and Palace in Jaipur. However, whispers of trouble in their marriage have been making rounds since last year. The rumours intensified when Hansika quietly deleted multiple pictures and videos featuring Sohael from her Instagram, without addressing the move publicly.
