Ace designer Manish Malhotra showcased his extravagant collection at India Couture Week last night, and who did he have closing the show? Well, none other than Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh!
A dream-like collection that not only focusses on Malhotra’s fortes that is frills, frocks, and drama, but one that also breaks away from the usual bridal colours to more muted tones. This didn’t mean it lacked shimmer, shine, and show!
While Manish did use his classic bridal colours, they were enveloped by greys, browns, and blues, which actually made the collection a lot more exciting and different from the usual.
With voluminous fabrics and classic cuts, each piece has a character of its own with embellishments, frills, and ruffles.
A great finale to India Couture Week 2017, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt closed the show for Bollywood’s favourite designers. With his designs being larger-than-life in itself, Manish Malhotra didn’t disappoint with this showcase!
