Exclusive: Tannaz Irani Recalls Mending Relationship With Daughter After Split From Ex-Husband

Tannaz Irani spoke about her relationship with her eldest daughter, Zainne during her chat with Siddhaarth Aalambayan on The Male Feminist.

The relationship that a mother has with her children, especially her daughters, is truly special and unique. Sometimes, when parents make certain decisions, it can impact their relationship with the kids. It appears something similar happened with Tannaz Irani and her eldest daughter Zianne, who she shared with ex-husband Farid Currim. The actress recently spoke with Siddhaarth Aalambayan on The Male Feminist and highlighted how they mended things between them and where the relationship stands now. 

Tannaz Irani Reveals Her Relationship With Eldest Daughter

During her conversation on The Male Feminist, Tannaz Irani revealed that her relationship with her eldest daughter, Zianne was affected after her split with her ex-husband. She realised how hard it must have been for her, adding that she was a child and didn’t understand what she was going through at the time. When the host asked how the actress mended her relationship with Zianne, she stated, “If you break that safety factor, especially as a mother, and yeah, I must have done that. I am guilty of it.” She further explained that your daughter has only one safety factor, who is her mother, adding that “once you break that, you’ve broken it yaar. I don’t care what excuse you’re gonna to make as a mother or a woman or whatever it is, you should have been damn bloody mature, and I wasn’t. Maybe I wasn’t.”

Tannaz further stressed that she didn’t blame herself and could have handled it better, adding that she was not educated enough, as she didn’t feel that it was going to affect people very badly.

Where Do They Stand Now?

When the host asked how long it had been before Tannaz rekindled her relationship with her daughter. She answered, “We never lost touch, but yes, today the dynamics are very different. Now she has grown up and we can speak about so many things.” Tannaz stated that there was no tension between the two, adding that her daughter is a very beautiful human being, and she came into her life to teach her so many things. Tannaz shared, “It was her repressed anger, grief that I could not help her out with because I had no clue. So now that I look back at it, I would have never done it.”

We applaud Tannaz Irani for keeping it real about such sensitive topics! It truly must have taken a lot for her to talk about such matters and reflect on how her relationship has transformed with her daughter.
