In recent events, Dhurandhar actor Nadeem Khan has been arrested following serious allegations made by his ex domestic worker by the Mumbai police. The case has shocked everyone and involves claims that the actor repeatedly s*xually assaulted the woman for nearly a decade, allegedly luring her with a false promise of marriage. For the unversed, Nadeem Khan played the role of Akhlak, the cook to Rehman Dakait in the Ranveer Singh film Dhurandhar. He has been take into custody by Malvani Police on Thursday and officials confirmed that he was currently as the investigation progressed. As per the police, the complaint was filed by a 41-year-old woman who had worked as a domestic help at the residence of many actors over the years.

She alleged in her statement that she first came in contact with Khan in 2015 and slowly their professional relationship turned into a personal one, during which the actor allegedly assured that he would marry her. Trusting his words, the woman claimed she consented to a physical relationship that continued for about ten years. She also claimed that the enormity’s took place at both her and Khan’s home in Versova.

Amid this, the actor allegedly refused to marry her after which she decided to go to the police. The complainant initially lodged complaint with Versova Police earlier this month. For jurisdictional considerations, the case was then transferred to Malvani Police. Based on the complaint and preliminary inquiry, Malvani Police registered a case and proceeded with Khan’s arrest. Further investigation is ongoing, and officials are expected to record additional statements and examine evidence related to the allegations.
