However, the 27-year-old recently celebrated her birthday in a grand comeback concert titled ‘I Miss You’ that marked a new beginning. Aside from the beautiful performances, the Hidden Love actress also spoke about her struggles, recovery, and the start of a new chapter in her life during the concert.
Zhao Lusi Celebrates 27th Birthday With Emotional Announcement
Zhao Lusi’s birthday concert titled ‘I Miss You’ was held in Changdu on November 8. It featured striking stage setups, music, and dance performances by the artist. Yet beneath the glamour, Lusi also tearfully discussed the challenges she faced in recent months, including a period when she feared she might never return to acting.
The actress announced that she officially opened her studio, a move that symbolises both creative freedom and her official departure from her agency, Galaxy Cool Entertainment.
Zhao Lusi’s struggles were first brought to light in late 2024 when she suddenly fell ill and had to pause all her ongoing projects. It was later reported that the Chinese actress has been diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety.
Zhao Lusi then exposed her former talent company, Galaxy Cool Entertainment, for mistreating her in August 2025. She detailed distressing incidents that exposed the ugly realities many Chinese celebrities have to face in the high-pressure entertainment industry. Lusi’s decision to speak out against her company was met with widespread support both from the actress’s fans and netizens.
