ZEROBASEONE To Continue Promotions As Group Till March After Contract Expiration
Speculations about ZEROBASEONE’s future promotions as a group have been rampant online. Since they are a survival group who were initially slated to only be active for two years, their fans were curious if their contract would be further extended due to the group’s popularity.
Now, their company WakeOne has finally released a statement addressing these speculations. In their statement, the company revealed that ZEROBASEONE will be promoting for an additional two months after their contract with the company expires. During this time, ZEROBASEONE will hold encore concerts for their 2025 world tour titled 2025 ZEROBASEONE WORLD TOUR HERE&NOW, and release a new album.
Response to this announcement has been divided. While many fans understood and anticipated this decision, others complained that two months is a very short time and WakeOne should have pushed for a longer extension. However, many online users point out that since the group members come from different agencies, it is hard to convince all the companies to agree on one decision; hence, the decision of their contract renewal does not solely rely on WakeOne.
