The much-anticipated third season of Euphoria is finally all set to release, and fans are tapping every move of their favourite stars from the grand premiere. And while all stars gave their attendance at the red carpet, one moment that made the most headlines was Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney’s alleged avoidance of each other. The pair reportedly does not get along, with tensions between them going way back, and their paths barely crossing at this star-studded event had everyone watching.
Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney At Euphoria 3 Screening
A source told The Sun, “During the press tour, any interactions between the pair are being kept to a minimum to avoid any awkward encounters on camera. There is a complete ban on journalists asking about tensions between Zendaya and Sydney.” For the unversed, another rumoured reason for this alleged beef is because of Zendaya’s fiancé, Tom Holland. As per the insider, Sweeney had a crush on him and was even flirty with him. This obviously did not go down right with the Dune actress, and the duo had not hung out ever since.
Reportedly, she and Tom Holland have secretly gotten married but have yet to confirm the news. Last month, fans also noticed how Sydney Sweeney was not included in an Euphoria group picture promoting the newest season. Sources said that though they will go their separate ways after Euphoria, their careers in Hollywood will make this rivalry difficult to avoid.

The outlet also reported that their different views on politics might also have deepened this wedge since Sydney is a registered Republican. Though they never had an upfront fight, the Drama actress quietly distanced herself from the Housemaids star. Reportedly, Zendaya does not want to be associated with a Trump supporter. She was late to the premiere and also skipped the cast’s official after-party at Chateau Marmont later in the night.
