In today’s time, when audiences are exposed to so much content on the various OTT platforms that their preferences are no longer basic. Now, people in the film business cannot expect to serve any kind of content to the viewers because social media has given them the power to call out any and everything. Even one racist dialogue in the film, and the audience will bash the film. But earlier, Indian films were not sensitive towards caste, race or any such topic. The veteran actor Zeena Aman put forth her opinion on this and expressed disappointment in doing films that were cringe and caricaturist.

Zeenat Aman’s social media is quite active and the yesteryear actress talks about many things on the platform. She often makes comparisons between the films produced in her time and now and also sheds light on the changes that Bollywood has gone through over the years. In a long Instagram post, the actress talked about her 1977 hit film Chhailla Babu. The film directed by Joy Mukherjee and produced by Shomu Mukherjee also featured Rajesh Khanna. Zeenat Aman particularly talked about her famous scene in which she shouted “Nahiiiii”. The veteran actress called this scene a signature in Bollywood films.

However, after some words of praise, the actress went on to point out everything that was wrong with the film. She also shared a shot from the film and described her look in the caption too. Zeena Aman wrote that she wore a heavily embellished dress for the shot and questioned if it was really a suitable day-wear dress. Zeenat Aman also called out the “Red Indian” sequence in the film. Zeenat Aman agreed that back then Indian films were quite cringe and did not get better with time. The actress further added that she is happy to know about content better now.
