Zakir Khan On Dhurandhar
During the recent Chetak Screen Awards 2026, many viral clips of Zakir Khan hosting the ceremony alongside Alia Bhatt and Sunil Grover have been spiralling on the internet. One such video that grabbed everyone’s attention was the one where he took a cheeky dig at Bollywood over the massive success of Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar franchise. He said, “You may drop congratulatory messages and stories and say in interviews that it’s your favourite film, but the truth is everyone got jealous of Dhurandhar.”
He further cheekily said that though the bomb blasts were seen in Lyari in Dhurandhar, the smoke was between Mumbai’s Bandra and Juhu. This statement went viral on social media with comments like, “It’s the truth which got no laughs,” and “Brutal moment as they can’t show their faces laughing by editing.” Many sided with the comedian and laughed at his sly dig at the industry after Ranveer Singh’s hit.
