Yuzvendra Chahal Flaunts “Be Your Own Sugar Daddy” T-Shirt For Divorce Proceedings With Dhanashree Verma!

Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal’s relationship is finally coming to an end as they finally head for divorce. The news of their separation was finally confirmed after reports claimed that the cricketer agreed to pay  Rs 4.75 Crore to Verma. In recent updates, the duo were spotted at the family court for further proceedings. Videos of them have been going viral on social media.

In a shared video, we saw Dhanashree Varma dressed and walking inside the court. Yuzvendra Chahal was likewise dressed in black and was strolling behind his lawyers. They both attempted not to be photographed and avoided the camera. According to Bar and Bench, Chahal consented to pay Verma a permanent alimony of Rs 4.75 crore under the consent terms. Of this, the choreographer has already received Rs 2.37 crore. The family court saw the failure to pay the remaining balance as noncompliance.

What intrigued users on the internet more than their visit to the court was the t-shirt worn by the cricketer. It created buzz on the internet as it said, “Be your own sugar daddy.” People started commenting and laughing at Yuzvendra’s t-shirt.

The Bombay High Court has reportedly expedited Chahal and Verma’s divorce-by-mutual consent suit. Justice Madhav Jamdar told the Bandra family court in the city to rule on the couple’s divorce case by March 20, as the cricketer will be unavailable after March 21 due to the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma, who married in 2020, have been living separately for 18 months. Previously, the two were questioned about the likely cause for seeking divorce after informing the court that they had ‘compatibility concerns’.
