On March 21, Yuqi banged her head during I-dle’s concert in Bangkok, reports say. This was part of the group’s Syncopation World Tour. It happened when the Chinese vocalist speedily tried to get into position. While her early symptoms were negligible (light swelling), she later had a persisting headache and woozy feeling. Medicines didn’t seem to help much, allegedly.

Fans spotted Song Yuqi in pain on March 24, 2026. She kept touching her temporal area and was unable to stand without assistance at the event. Afterwards, she was rushed to the doctor for repetitive pain and reeling in her head.
As a result, the singer eventually decided to press pause on her planned activities and announced her decision to fans. Sharing that she was sorry about the whole incident, but especially for making her supporters upset. In a message, she said that her doctors told her to take rest and keep a close eye on how she was feeling.
Officially speaking on the matter, CUBE Entertainment, which represents I-dle, informed fans that Yuqi had previously been to the hospital for headaches and dizziness. Per the doctors’ opinions, she would now be resting well to “ensure a full recovery.” Hoping that stans understand, CUBE reiterated its commitment to putting its artists’ “health and safety” first.

While there has been no announcement about when Yuqi will be able to get back to work, fans hope she feels better soon. However, her health should take priority over concert appearances.
