Did YouTube Allegedly Shade TWICE While Praising Stray Kids? Here’s Why Fans Think So!
The fans of TWICE, took action against YouTube Music for what they felt was a shady comment about the group.

K-pop fans are extremely protective of their favourite artists, whether it’s a social media account or a celebrity making comments. They quickly call out anything they see as disrespectful. Recently, ONCEs, the fans of TWICE, took action against YouTube Music for what they felt was a shady comment about the group. It has led to a debate with many fans demanding respect and accountability. Here’s what everyone is saying regarding the situation below!
Recently, Stray Kids released their full-length album Karma. Soon after, the group announced two remix versions of the title track, Ceremony. In response, YouTube Music’s official X account wrote that “#STAYs are about to eat TWICE in one week.”
However, the post included the word “TWICE” in all caps, which some fans thought was a dig at the popular girl group. Many ONCEs felt the capitalisation was intentional and disrespectful.
The comment didn’t sit well with fans, who saw it as unprofessional from a major platform like YouTube Music. One fan tagged YouTube on X and called the post unprofessional and threatened to cancel their premium subscription if the issue wasn’t addressed.
the way YouTube Music tweeted on TWICE like 1 time in the whole of 2025, but tweet about Stray Kids every week. plus the fact that JYP tweeted on SKZ new album

It’s important to note that YouTube Music hasn’t responded officially to the backlash yet. What are your thoughts on the above situation?
