For someone who is a fattu, I sure love watching a lot of horror movies! One of the earliest horror films that I watched and which scared me to death was 1920. I was literally peeking from behind my cushion whenever Adha Sharma came on screen possessed! But did I rewatch the film 1920 times? Yes, yes, I did. The Vikram Bhatt directorial was Adah’s debut Bollywood film, and she did a great job at it. And on the latest episode of Yeh Ladki Pagal Hai, Adah Sharma has revealed how she is glad that she made her debut with 1920 because she learnt a lot of things on the set of the film.

In a fun and candid conversation with Pavni Mehrotra, Adah Sharma revealed what her experience was like shooting 1920 being a debutant. “It was good that 1920 was my debut film. I, I was very young. Mujhe kuch nahi pata tha,” says Adah. She revealed that she did not know certain technical terms which were commonly used on the sets. Elaborating more about it, she said when people on the set would say, “Baby (term used for lights) ko hatao”, she would think they were referring to her because she was young.

Adding more on how not knowing anything on the set of 1920 turned out to be good for her, Adah Sharma said, “I had to be uninhibited for my role, and also had to do crazy things.”She further went on to say that she said yes to jumping from the ceiling and climbing without giving it a second thought.

Adah also talked about how she had to undergo a physical transformation for her role because she had to look an ‘older thakurain’ of the haveli. And to achieve this, she had ‘correctly accentuate her curves’. She also said that she enjoyed working on the film.
