There was a lot of buzz around two major releases clashing in March-Dhurandhar 2 and Toxic. The latter stars Yash in the lead role along with many popular stars. The films were going to release on March 19, however, as per the latest updates on the same, the release of Geetu Mohandas’ film has been postponed. An official statement has been released by the makers stating the new release date and the reason to postpone the film. Read here for more.
Toxic Release Date Postponed
Yash starrer was earlier going to release on March 19. However, in an official statement, the production house has stated the difficult decision of postponing the film to June. In the note, the makers mentioned that Toxic was filmed in Kannada and English, and it aims to reach a larger audience at home and across the world. The note also talks about the sheer dedication with which the film has been made to give its audience a memorable theatrical experience. However, due to the tensions arising in the Middle East, the makers have decided to postpone the film’s release, as per the statement. Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown Ups will now release on June 4, 2026 instead of March 19. It will release across the globe in English and other Indian languages.

Many fans are disappointed with the postponed as they were quite excited to watch the Yash starrer action adventure. For the unversed, Toxic also stars Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Nayanthara among others. The teaser was dropped this year, and it got mixed reactions from the audience.
