YG Entertainment Founder Yang Hyun Suk Reacts To 2NE1 Park Bom’s Viral Fraud Allegations

An industry insider revealed the YG Founder's reaction.

2NE1’s Park Bom has recently made some serious allegations against YG Entertainment and its founder, Yang Hyun Suk. She has accused the founder of corruption and embezzlement, and also alleged that the company staff made fun of Bom’s cosmetic surgeries. Now, Yang Hyun Suk has reportedly responded to Park Bom’s allegations. Read on to know what the YG Entertainment founder said.

Park Bom’s Allegations Against YG Entertainment

Netizens were shocked when 2NE1’s Park Bom posted a picture of a police complaint on her Instagram. In her complaint, Bom had listed an absurd amount of money that she demanded to be paid to her by YG Entertainment. The long string of numbers mentioned in the complaint added up to 700 nonillion USD.

Along with this, the lawsuit pages also included other problems that Park Bom allegedly faced during her time at YG Entertainment. It read that the 2NE1 singer feels that she was not paid enough. Yang Hyun Suk tricked her and took money that belonged to her. She further said that she did not get her shares of money generated from album sales, TV ads, shows and other events.

Park Bom seems to be suing YG and Yang Hyun Suk for unpaid wages.

This is said to be over 64 Billion won in unpaid wages.

The idol, however, deleted the story on her Instagram shortly after posting it. Her agency, D-Nation Entertainment, put out a statement saying that they couldn’t “control” her and are struggling to manage her decisions fully.

Yang Hyun Suk’s Reaction

Now, a high-ranking industry insider has shared the YG Entertainment founder’s reaction to this situation in a report to OSEN. The insider revealed that Yang Hyun Suk has expressed concern for Park Bom instead of getting upset. Hyun Suk is reportedly concerned about the 2NE1 singer’s health.

Park Bom is a K-pop singer who is a member of YG Entertainment’s popular second-generation group 2NE1. The group was very famous during their heyday before entering a hiatus in 2014. The girl group reunited in 2024 and had a reunion tour to celebrate their 15th anniversary.
