The actor praised South Indian cinema because stars there stand together and don’t allow such things. Yami Gautam Dhar asked Bollywood’s big producers, directors, and actors to join hands and stop this now. She spoke as the wife of director Aditya Dhar, who has worked day and night on their new film, Dhurandhar. She wants people to watch the movie and tell what they feel and not because someone paid for fake praise or a fake negative campaign.
Her co-star in Kaabil, Hrithik Roshan, quickly supported her. He said when writers can’t speak the truth, everyone loses. Actors don’t grow, and audiences don’t get honest reviews. They both hope for a clean industry where good films win because they are good, not because someone paid to control the hype about them.
