Amid the constant harassment and shaming online by faceless accounts, another casual body-shaming post has disgusted us. In a post made by the X account named God Is A Man (wow, not so subtle, eh?), they were seen replying to actor Ashnoor Kaur. Her statement said, “Rather be a baddie than a bechari.” To this, they shared two pictures of the actor while calling her a “thul-thul Indian woman” very casually. This is not only very problematic, but it is also shocking to see men come out and say things like this so easily without thinking twice. And while we thought that people would call it out in the comment section, many contributed to this thought and made fun of Ashnoor.

Amid this, many also came to her defence and stated that calling a woman “thul thul” in 2026 is deeply problematic. Many called the account out, stating that sharing such hateful posts against a woman should not be normalised. They called the account “insecure” while writing that it is “convenient” for them to write about a woman’s weight from behind a keyboard while hiding themselves. A self-made girl like Ashnoor Kaur, who has been working since a young age and has always minded her business, being subjected to unnecessary hate is just sad to watch.
