Hollywood actress Sydney Sweeney has been the face of controversy for quite some time now. Recent reports suggest that the actress may be potentially blacklisted from the industry. This does not have anything to do with her infamous American Eagle ad, but her alleged relationship with music executive Scooter Braun. Sydney Sweeney Blacklisted?

Sydney Sweeney has been mum since her ad campaign with American Eagle garnered massive backlash. The rage against her grew even more after she allegedly started dating Taylor Swift’s nemesis, Scooter Braun. Following her recent appearance at the Emmys 2025, it was reported that the night was ‘awkward’ for her as she thought the event was too ‘woke’ for her. As per News.com, an insider revealed, “She’s made no secret about where she stands politically, but she’s not going to shout it from the rooftops.”

Despite being chosen to deliver an award, Sydney Sweeney appeared to be out of place and disoriented backstage. She wasn’t the most popular girl there, as she usually is. It was also reported that some of her peers have been taking a ‘backstage’ role in friendship with her because of the controversy surrounding her. Sweeney’s career has recently undergone several setbacks, resulting in a string of box office failures. Her 2023 crime thriller, Americana, and 2024 survival thriller, Eden, which also starred Jude Law and Ana de Armas, were both flops upon release.

Meanwhile, claims have surfaced that Sweeney’s romance with Braun is “hotting up”. They originally met at Jeff Bezos’ wedding and have reportedly been getting closer ever since.
