Excitement was high among GOT7 fans, known as Ahgase, when the group announced their Bangkok concert, NESTFEST, scheduled for May. However, the anticipation quickly turned to frustration when issues arose with the ticket queue system. Because of these problems, the organisers decided to extend the local presale and delay the global public sale of tickets. This decision made many fans angry who felt it was unfair to separate the queue for local and international supporters.
Amid the growing discussion and backlash, two GOT7 members addressed the situation. Mark Tuan expressed his understanding of the problems and apologised for how things had unfolded. He stated that this was not how they had imagined the concert planning would go and assured fans that they would work to prevent similar issues in the future.
Another member, BamBam, also shared his feelings. He expressed his desire to explain what was happening behind the scenes and reveal the truth but felt unable to do so due to the potential impact on many people. He conveyed his frustration at being blamed repeatedly without the full story being known.
BamBam questioned why he had to cover up others’ mistakes and why good advice seemed to be ignored. He was also annoyed at the speed of social media and the tendency for people to post without permission. He hoped that one day he could share all the details from the beginning so everyone could understand his deep disappointment.
Following these statements from Mark and BamBam, fans clarified their anger was towards the organisers. They demanded an apology for the ticketing issues and reassured the GOT7 members that they were not to blame for the situation. What are your thoughts?
