Diddy’s Lawyers Want Kid Cudi’s Testimony About Car Explosion To Be Removed From Court Record
Diddy's legal team call for Kid Cudi's statement about his Porsche explosion incident in 2011 be removed from official court records.

On May 22, Kid Cudi, also known as Scott Mescudi, an American rapper and singer who had ties with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, recently testified against him in court. Sean, also famously known as P Diddy, is currently embroiled in a s*x trafficking and racketeering trial. In his statement, Kudi talked about a brief altercation that he had with the rapper in 2011, where he suspects that Diddy was responsible for burning and exploding his car.
5 days after Kid Cudi’s statement in the trial, P Diddy’s lawyers are now asking his testimony about the car explosion to be struck from court records due to his unconfirmed claim that the accused was lying about his involvement.
Kid Cudi’s Porshe Explosion
Cudi said in court that in 2011, he one day got a call from his dog sitter who told him that his car is on fire. When he was on his way home, he also received a picture of his burnt Porsche from his friend. The top of Cudi’s car was cut open from the top and an Molotoc cocktail was inserted in it.
The incident came after the rapper’s former partner Cassie Ventura, who has also testified against the rapper in the trial, briefly dated Kid Cudi. The relationship came when Cassie and Diddy were on an on-and-off relationship and ‘weren’t in a great place.’ Ventura had previously testified that when Diddy found out about her relationship with Kid Cudi, he became jealous and allegedly threatened to burn his car with a Molotoc cocktail.

Diddy’s Reaction
After the car explosion Kid Cudi had confronted Diddy when they met at Soho House. The Bad Boy records founder responded by saying that he did not know anything about this matter. However, a few years later when he two met again at Soho house Diddy told Cudi that he wanted to apologise for everything.
What Diddy’s Legal Team Is Saying?
Now Diddy’s legal team is requesting Cudi’s testament about the car explosion to be removed off of official records because they deem it “mere speculation,” which poses “significant dangers of unfair prejudice” against him.
The ongoing court trial of singer and rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is making a lot of headlines. His ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, was one of the first victims to file a case against the singer. However, Diddy has pleaded not guilty to all the allegations against him. The rapper’s trial started on May 5, with the selection of jury and is currently still ongoing.
