Why Was Tamannaah Bhatia Rejected?
Krystle D’Souza and Ayesha Khan feature in the Dhurandhar song ‘Shararat;. However, the choreographer Vijay Ganguly recently revealed that his first choice for the song was Tamannaah Bhatia. During an interview with FilmyGyan, the choreographer revealed that he suggested Tamannaah for the song; however, it was Aditya Dhar who rejected the idea. As per the choreographer, the director did not want ‘Shararat’ to be considered as an item song, and did not want the audience’s attention be distracted from the story because of the actor.
He also added that the song had two girl because it was not meant to be about the one person only. The choreographer also added that if it were Tamannaah, then the song would have become entirely about her and not the story, and since there is a lot happening in the film, the song was just meant to be a song, and not deviate attention.
Well, among the other songs, ‘Shararat’ has also become everyone’s favourite!
