Deepika Padukone Out Of Kalki 2898 AD
On Thursday, September 18, the makers of Kalki 2898 AD took to their social media and said, “Despite the long journey of making the first film, we were unable to find a partnership. And a film like @Kalki2898AD deserves that commitment and much more. We wish her the best with her future works.” And recently, Hindustan Times reported that the film’s shoot was scheduled for the end of 2025. However, Deepika Padukone’s dates were instead given to Atlee’s upcoming film.
Both of these films were originally intended to be shot simultaneously, which led to a compromise between Padukone’s team and the filmmakers. These reports may provide the audience with an overview of what might have happened. Any official statement from the actress or her team is yet to be announced. This news came after the actress’s exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film Spirit alongside Prabhas. Reportedly, Deepika had asked for better pay and an 8-hour work shift due to her recent role as a mother to baby Dua. And reportedly, the filmmaker claimed it as she was having tantrums.
