After 3 years, iconic K-pop group BLACKPINK are all set to embark on a world tour, and fans couldn’t be happier. The world tour is titled DEADLINE and will start from July 5 at Goyang Stadium in South Korea. Well, the excitement is on top of the roof; however, fans have a major and valid concern. Read on to know.
On May 16, YG Entertainment revealed BLACKPINK’s tour name, DEADLINE, on social media. It was a simple post, but it was enough to send fans into a frenzy. Fans loved the announcement but felt uneasy. The group’s last album, Born Pink, came out in 2022. Since then, members Jennie, Rosé, Jisoo, and Lisa have focused on solo projects. Fans fear the group aren’t preparing together and aren’t truly focused on their comeback.
How can a group with a tour coming up, and no new music since their last tour 3y ago still not be prioritizing the grp? They have barely spent a weekend tgth, yet they dgaf. We’re just going to get random songs thrown into an album by Teddy, with zero growth or cohesion. Fck this https://t.co/6zJ6F0br1g

Some fans voiced their frustration online. They pointed out that with the tour less than two months away, the members seem busy with individual work. Rosé’s recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show added to these concerns. Fans think YG Entertainment is rushing the tour to compete with other groups. Whereas others are hoping that the group are working together secretly.
45 days left for the tour and blackpink are literally everywhere but in the studio/practice room. https://t.co/XRYLRgGtYz pic.twitter.com/pFgUkFiYfk
