Here’s Why BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Didn’t Attend The MET Gala With Lisa, Jennie, Rosé!

BLACKPINK’s attendance at the MET Gala 2025 didn’t go unnoticed, with Lisa, Jennie, and Rosé shining on the red carpet. But while they walked the steps of their first or second galas, many fans missed the fourth member, Jisoo. Fans wondered how fantastic it would have been for the girl gang to go as a quarter for the first time. But according to recent reports, she was busy with her upcoming K-drama Boyfriend on Demand.

Why Did Jisoo Not Attend The MET Gala

According to Cosmopolitan, the fourth member of BLACKPINK, Jisoo, had a good reason not to come to the MET Gala. This was because she had just finished filming her upcoming Netflix K-drama called Boyfriend on Demand. Pictures of Jisoo at the wrap party went viral on social media on May 2. Before this, neither Lisa nor Jisoo had attended the event. The former made her debut this year with Louis Vuitton and faced a lot of backlash for allegedly wearing American activist Rosa Parks’ face on her panties.

Rosé was the first member of BLACKPINK to make a debut at the MET in 2021. She made a stunning statement in Saint Laurent. Two years later, in 2023, Jennie also made her red carpet debut in a white Chanel minidress. She then attended again in 2024 in a stunning royal-blue Alaïa gown. Lisa, Jennie, and Rosé recently visited Coachella in California. This year’s festival featured Jennie and Lisa performing as solo artists.
