In an unfortunate turn of events, Bollywood star Govinda was recently admitted to CritiCare Hospital in Mumbai’s Juhu area after fainting at his residence. He was hospitalised late on Tuesday night, as confirmed by his friend and legal advisor Lalit Bandil. Now, his manager has shared a health update on the actor. Govinda’s manager, Shahi Sinha, told IANS that his health is being closely monitored and they are awaiting his reports. He said the actor had a severe headache and felt heavy in his head, leading to dizziness. Now, the hospital has advised him to see a neurologist, and doctors are conducting his checkups. His sudden hospitalisation comes right after he was seen visiting Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital to meet veteran actor Dharmendra, who was also admitted there. A pap video of him from outside the hospital went viral, where he was seen visibly emotional.
As soon as the news surfaced on social media, fans started being concerned for the actor. They wrote things like, “Get well soon, sir,” and “Blessings, prayers, healings” under his comment section.
This is not the first time the actor has been admitted to the hospital in the past year. In October of 2024, he was admitted to the same hospital after he accidentally injured his leg with a licensed gun. Govinda sustained a wound below his knee and also underwent an hour-long surgery in the ICU to remove the bullet safely. Reportedly, he was preparing to travel to Kolkata and was putting his revolver back into the cupboard when it accidentally fired.
