Who Is Sidharth Malhotra’s Father?
Sidharth Malhotra’s father, Sunil Malhotra, was a former Merchant Navy captain and a strong influence in his life. Sunil was married to Rimma Malhotra, and the past few years have been difficult for them with him being unwell. Just last year, the actor spoke about a moment when he felt ashamed about himself when his father had been unwell for quite a while, and during that time, he had been harsh with his mother over a medicine dosage and later realised how she was managing everything on her own while he was building his career in Mumbai.
During a previous chat with Lilly Singh, Malhotra admitted that fear and stress sometimes made him react angrily, because his mother was the one taking care of his father’s treatment. Recalling a quiet Delhi morning when his mother opened up about the struggles she faced years ago while raising the family, often without his presence. Hearing her speak about those hard times made him reflect on his actions and understand her strength.
Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra was filming the forthcoming action thriller VVAN- Force of Forest with Tamannaah Bhatia, which was directed by Arunabh Kumar and Deepak Kumar Mishra. The film is scheduled for release on May 15, 2025. He recently appeared in the 2025 film Param Sundari, which stars Janhvi Kapoor. The picture received mixed reviews from both the public and critics.
