The couple, who are comment visitors, were seen at the airport before their visit, and their video quickly went viral. As soon as they came out of the airport, a man was seen waiting for them. Ever since Anushka Sharma was seen bowing down, the internet has been confused about who the man was. And as per reports, he is a sadhu associated with Premanand Ji Maharaj’s ashram. He had reportedly come to pick her and Virat Kohli from the airport to the Kelly Kunj Ashram. Besides this, another view showed the same man coming out of the ashram in a yellow dress, which further addressed the rumours.
This is not Kohli and Sharma’s first time in Vrindavan. They had come here even after the T20 World Cup, wearing a Tulsi garland, which is considered a crucial aspect of Premanand Ji Maharaj’s spiritual faith. The cricketer, who has relocated to the UK with his family, has returned to India for the Indian Premier League (IPL) playing for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). He has scored 247 runs in 6 matches, taking him to the top-5 of the highest run-scorers in the current season.
Amid this, he was under scrutiny after he liked a picture of a German influencer known as LizLaz. The internet was abuzz after many eagle-eyed fans noticed his like on one of her pictures. Previously, he faced similar backlash for liking Indian creator and actor Avneet Kaur’s picture on Instagram. He later issued a statement saying that it was the algorithm’s fault.
