Shhyamali De is a Mumbai University graduate with a degree in psychology. She has worked as an assistant director, creative consultant, and scriptwriter. Her experience as an assistant director is remarkable, as she has worked with famous names such as Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra and Vishal Bharadwaj. She has also worked on known films like Rang De Basanti, Omkara, and Ek Nadir Golpo, among others.
