South star Priyanka Mohan was born in Bengaluru to a Kannadian mother and a Tamilian father, never even imagining that she would become an actress one day. She studied biological engineering from PES University and did a few modelling gigs during her college years just as a hobby. While she was doing this, she started receiving audition offers, taking her into the world of acting. Mohan eventually made her debut in a Kannada film called Ondh Kathe Hella in 2019, and even though it wasn’t a massive success, her introduction to the audience was done.

During the same year, the actress also made her Tamil Debut with Gang Leader alongside Nani. And this time, it was a super-hit, giving her the recognition she deserved. She then appeared in films like Don and Etharkkum Thunindhavan. And just in a few years, she managed to become an established name in the Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada film industry. But with fame also came criticism as social media users labelled her as ‘wooden face’ after not saying that she was expressionless.
