The actor who gained fame after featuring in the popular TV serial Pavitra Rishta breathed her last on August 31 at her home in Mumbai. As per the reports, the actor was in a long battle with cancer and was also undergoing treatment for it. Actor Priya Marathe won hearts with her performance in the popular TV serial Pavitra Rishta. As per a Maharashtra Times report, the actor was suffering breast cancer and despite the treatment, her health got worse. The actor’s sudden demise left her fans and the film fraternity heartbroken. Many actors like Usha Nadkarni, and Anurag Sharma among others mourned the actor’s death.

Priya Marathe featured in many TV serials and in no time, became a popular face with her hard-work and flawless acting chops. She also played memorable characters in serials like Kasamh Se and Bade Acche Lagte Hain. The actor also featured in many Marathi films and even in the television industry. And the most recent one was Tuzech Mi Geet Gaat Aahe.
