In a recent turn of events, a Mumbai court issued a notice to former actor and Miss India winner Celina Jaitly’s husband, Peter Haag. The Austrian Hotelier got in trouble after she filed a case against him under the Domestic Violence Act for domestic violence, cruelty, and manipulation. The actress has also alleged emotional, physical, s*xual, and verbal abuse by the businessman. As per her petition, she said that she was forced to flee her home in Austria and return to India due to the abuse.

Actress Celina Jaitly came into the limelight after she went to the Delhi High Court to seek legal and medical assistance from Indian authorities for her brother, Major Vikram Kumar Jaitly, alleging that he had been illegally detained in the UAE. She married her husband, Peter Haag, on July 23, 2011. They had their wedding at a 1,000-year-old monastery in Austria. They also became parents to twin boys in 2012, and five years later, she also gave birth to her second set of twin boys, in which one baby died due to a heart defect.

Peter Haag is an Austrian entrepreneur, hotelier, marketeer, and brand strategist who has reportedly worked in the hospitality industry with top hotel chains in Dubai and Singapore. He also held major roles in marketing and management in prestigious hotel groups such as the Emaar Hospitality Group in Dubai, right before he got married to Celina in 2011. During a previous chat, the actress opened up about her first meeting with Peter. She said that they met at an event in Dubai where she was invited to the store opening of an Indian fashion brand that she used to endorse.
A family friend had introduced her to the hotelier, and she later invited him to a family gathering. She stated, “Actually, we did not speak to each other, but I just knew from the moment he walked in that he was my husband even though we had never met before.” She said that seeing him walk in a tailored black suit made her think of him as her husband. The No Entry actress was impressed by his impeccable manners and kind eyes. He later came to India in 2010 to meet her parents.
