Who Is Lucy Guo
Lucy Guo started a company in 2016 along with a colleage named Alexandr Wang, after the two met at Quora. The co-founded Scale AI, and Lucy Guo took over the responsibilties of operations and production design while Wang became the CEO. The two were aged 21 and 19, respectively, when they started this company. However, two years later Guo left the company over reportedly some disagreement with Wang. Nevertheless, she held a 5% stake in the company, and that’s what made her the youngest self-made billionaire. The company is now worth $25 billion, as per reports.
As per news reports, Lucy Guo is 1994 born and her Chinese immigrant parents raised her in California. She went on to study computer science at Carnegie Mellon University, but in 2014, she dropped out of college. Lucy had also worked briefly in companies like Facebook and Snapchat as a designer.
