Lekha Washington is a South Indian actress, artist, and product designer. She has primarily acted in Tamil and Telugu language films. She attended her school in Chennai and further went on to pursue a degree in Fine Arts from St. Maris College, Chennai. Lekha Washington also pursued courses like Lifestyle Product Design and Video Communication from the National Institute Of Design. She also made short films while pursuing her courses. Lekha Washington also appeared in several South Indian films like R Kannan’s Jayamkondaan, Va, and Huduga Hudugi, and made her debut as a lead in Vedam. She also did a couple of Hindi films, after making her debut with Peter Gaya Kaam Se alongside Rajeev Khandelwal and then Power. Lekha worked with Imran Khan in Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola and played the role of his friend. Lekha Washington also owns a product design company with the name Ajji. She holds a great interest in theatre and also takes part in it as an actor and director.
